Shipping
All shipping is handled by third-party vendors. Works purchased from Rago, Wright, LAMA, or Toomey & Co. may ship from any of our three locations. You are welcome to use a vendor of your choice, select a shipper from one of our lists, or you can collect your purchases yourself. Once you have made shipping or pickup arrangements, please let us know by completing our shipper authorization form.
For purchases of jewelry and watches, flat rate shipping with Malca-Amit may be available. If your purchases qualify for this service, you will be provided an opportunity to add it to your invoice before submitting payment.

Hours for pickup are 9:30 am to 4 pm, Monday – Friday. Please bring your own packing materials. As a safety precaution, we are currently limiting the number of pickups allowed at any given time and all collections must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

The majority of auction items can be collected from one of our warehouses in Lambertville, Chicago, or Los Angeles. The pickup location for your purchase(s) can be found on your invoice. This information is also included in the lot/item description found online.

How do I request a shipping quote?
A shipping invoice will be emailed to you the day following the sale. It will include important information such as item dimensions, pickup and delivery addresses, as well as thumbnail images of the works that you may pass along to shippers for quotes. You are welcome to reach out to any shipper of your choice or we are happy to connect you with one or more of our recommended shippers.
How long will it take to receive my item?
Transit times depend on distance and the shipper's availability. It is best to work directly with your shipper to obtain an approximate timeline for delivery.
Are my items packed?
No. Items are not packed by Rago/Wright/LAMA/Toomey & Co. Your shipper will need to include this service in their shipping plan.
My item is small / easily shipped. Can Rago/Wright/LAMA/Toomey & Co. pack it for me and ship standard courier (i.e. UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.)?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer packing or shipping as an in-house service. But, we are happy to connect you with a shipper who can assist you in this way.
Does Rago/Wright/LAMA/Toomey & Co. operate a shipping service of its own that I can tag along with?
No, Rago/Wright/LAMA/Toomey & Co. does not offer this service at this time.
Can I pay Rago/Wright/LAMA/Toomey & Co. directly for the cost of shipping, along with the remainder of my invoiced balance?
Please pay your shipper directly for their services. Your shipper will send along payment instruction after you have accepted their offer to ship.
How long do I have to pick up my auction purchase? Does Rago/Wright/LAMA/Toomey & Co. offer storage?
We request property be collected within 14 days of the auction date and we offer a 30-day storage grace period to accommodate shipping schedules.
What happens if I do not pick up my item within the 30-day grace period?
Your purchase may be subject to additional storage fees, or relocation to an outside storage facility. If you require additional time to make arrangements, please contact us:

Can a friend pick up my purchase?
Yes. Please bear in mind that unless you have a resale certificate that can be used towards your purchase or your friend owns and operates a licensed and bonded shipping company, you will need to pay applicable state sales tax before we can release your purchase. This is just the same as if you walked into any other storefront and made a purchase in person; auction buys are no exception.
Can I use my own shipper?
Absolutely. Please note that we require a Bill of Lading or Shipping Invoice from your shipper at least 24 hours prior to collection. Please send required documentation to:
